Denver Dems' Watch Fest '08 - VOLUNTEERS

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Denver Dems’ Watch Fest ’08! Below are the volunteer roles and expectations.

If interested in volunteering, email: DDFest08@gmail.com. To best utilize your assistance yet still allow you to participate and enjoy yourself, we will have several shifts, so indicate whether you are interested in EARLY, MIDDLE or LATE.

We will start setting up about 3:30 and finish cleaning up no later than 11:00 pm. We will have several shifts so please indicate whether you are interested in EARLY, MIDDLE or LATE.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Set-Up: 3:30pm - 5pm, includes setting up the fencing, stage, tables, etc.

DPoD Tables: Pass out wristbands to over 21 patrons WITH ID. NO EXCEPTIONS, sell T-shirts and DPoD DNC Posters, provide information about the Party, and “sell” VIP buttons.

Beer Sales: Oskar Blues Brewery will arrive with a crew but needs help. You must be 21 years of age, have your ID with you, and be expected to haul ice, change kegs, generally maintain a clear site, and be around a lot of money changing hands. You will NOT be allowed to drink during your shift.

Bouncers: We will have paid security, but we ALL need to help keep peace and order during the event.

General Wanderers: Help us keep an eye on everything. Provide directions and instruction, report questionable behavior, alert the powers-that-be of VIP arrivals, direct any media or press, and pitch in to keep ahead of the trash.

VIP Ambassadors: The VIP component of this event will be inside part of the Pavilion, and while you may be among some Very Important People, you may be missing whatever is happening on the stage.

Clean-Up: Again, we hope everyone will pitch in, but if you really want to help with just the cleanup from 10pm to 11pm, we will let you, and will greatly appreciate it.
