How do Judges get their jobs?
All Judges are appointed by the Governor. They serve for a certain number of years depending on their position and then are eligible, by popular vote, to retain their positions for another term.
Supreme Court Justices serve 10 year terms.
Court of Appeals Justices serve 8 year terms.
District Court Judges serve 6 year terms.
County Court Judges serve 4 year terms.
