DCPA Presents Symphonic Mariachi Concert on May 5, 2009...FREE!!

Boettcher Concert Hall at the Denver Center for the Perfoming Arts is presenting a cultural concert entitled Un Toque de México (a Touch of Mexico), on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, as part of the citywide Cinco de Mayo celebrations this week.

The 7th Annual Un Toque de Mexico will showcase Mexican composers and Mexican cultural music performed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.

This year's featured guests include Florencia Tinoco - Soprano, Jeff Nevin - Arranger/Trumpet, Danielle Belen - Violin/Sphinx Competition Winner, Fiesta Colorado Dance Company - Artistic Director Jeanette Trujillo Lucero, Mariachi "Sol de Mi Tierra" - Director Juventino Romero, Bryant Webster School "Mariachi Juvenil."
