House District 3 Vacancy - Resource Page

Representative Anne McGihon submitted her resignation Monday, March 16, effective at the end of legislative business on March 27th. This vacancy opens up a race for the seat that will be filled when the Democratic Party's House District 3 Vacancy Committee elects a replacement.

This page provides information on the Vacancy Committee, committee meeting, candidate information and FAQs regarding the process of electing a new state representative.

Members of the Vacancy Committee include the members of the Denver Central Committee and the Arapahoe County Central Committee who live in House District 3.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., with registration starting at 6 p.m.
