There will be numerous opportunities in the coming months to help with our voter registration drives, including registering students at local high schools in the coming weeks.
B. Messaging Presentation. Angie Dickinson, Democratic Party of Denver Captain at Large, will discuss messaging for the upcoming election. As Angie says: "Discover why people vote against their own self-interests. Englighten the electorate about President Obama's accomplishments and our progressive values. Learn how to navigate quick shifts in the political landscape and advocate for democratic ideals." Angie's presentation has been very well received by other groups and resulted in terrific brainstorming sessions.

ELECTION DAY
Visit our Election Center for all the information you need.
House District 6B Welcomes Sen Steadman and Rep Lois Court
Due to the redistricting currently being reviewed by the courts, our Senate district is expected to change. Denver will lose a Senate seat. Our current Senator, Joyce Foster, is retiring and will not seek re-election. In the plans being reviewed, we will be represented in a new Senate district by Pat Steadman. Senator Pat Steadman and Representative Lois Court will speak about the upcoming legislative session.
Representative Court is our current Representative and a frequent guest at our meetings. She serves as the Minority Caucus Leader for the Democrats and serves on the State, Veterans and Military Affairs Committee.
Senator Pat Steadman currently represents the central area of Denver and part of Adams Count. He serves as a member of the Joint Budget Committee and as Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
