White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina Guest Speaker at Annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner
White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Jim Messina will join Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire as a guest speaker at our Colorado Democratic Party’s 77th Annual Jefferson- Jackson (JJ) Day dinner on March 6, 2010.
Prior to his position at the White House, Jim Messina served as national Chief of Staff for Sen. Obama's presidential campaign. Previous to that, Messina was chief of staff for two US Senators and one Representative: Max Baucus (D-MT), Byron Dorgan (D-ND) and U.S. Representative Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY). Messina has also managed and consulted on many other political campaign organizations from Alaska to New York, including Montana Senator Jon Tester’s successful election in 2006.
