Caucus Help Needed!!!

We need up to 100 volunteers to help with Caucus.  Click on the role you would like to fill and a separate email box will open and be sent to our Volunteer Coordinator. You will be contacted as soon as possible to confirm.

Before Caucus Night:

Put up Caucus signs: Pick up Site Location Signs Monday or Tuesday, February 26 or 27, at Denver Dems HQ (574 S. Broadway) and put up at Caucus sites on Thursday March 1 (business hours, most sites are DPS Schools) all across Denver. Must have a car or driver – teams welcomed and encouraged. 8 -10 needed. .

Stuff Packets: About 10 people needed Monday, February 26, Tuesday, February 27, or Friday March 2, at HQ (574 S. Broadway). Office hours are from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.

Caucus Night - March 6th:

Caucus Site Assistants:  Each of our caucus sites require a Site Coordinator and one or more Site Assistants. Subdistrict leaders will select the Site Coordinators, but we encourage high school students or unaffiliated voters (you must be a registered Democrat to participate in your precinct caucus) to come and help with check-in, pass out packets, direct people to their precinct meetings, and gather results at the end of the night.

Headquarters - 8:30 to 10:00 pm: 4 to 5 organized, reliable people, good under pressure, needed to help tally the results for Chair Cindy Lowery-Graber and compile an accurate count for her to advise the press. Answer phones and record Caucus reports as they come in, and provide general office support.

Site Runners:  Right after Caucus, we need 6 to 12 people pick up and deliver all materials to HQ (574 S. Broadway) around 9:00 p.m. You must have a car, and one driver and one runner would be best (teams). Districts with contested races require non-voting members (non-affiliated voters or people from other districts). Some screening will be done to ensure impartiality.

After Caucus:

Post Caucus data entry: Wednesday March 7 through Saturday March 10 we need 5 to 10 people each day to help enter all of the Caucus data.  You MUST be detail oriented!  Learn about or learn more about the Colorado Voter Action Network (VAN), 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. each day until we're done.
