Caucus Eligibility Requirements
Please make sure your voter registration is in order, as the first stage of the 2010 Election process is set for March 16th, when Denver Democrats will gather in their neighborhoods to participate in Democratic Party Caucuses. Participants will vote for Colorado's Democratic U.S. Senate candidates, elect Precinct Committee Persons, and Delegates to the County Assembly from their immediate neighborhoods, and adopt planks to submit for the Party platform.
To participate in your Precinct Caucus, voters must meet the following requirements and deadlines:
- The voter must have been affiliated with the Democratic Party by January 19, 2010.
- The voter must be a resident of the precinct for at least 30 days. If you have moved recently or never registered to vote at your current address, visit the Denver Elections Division by February 16th;
- The voter must have registered to vote no later than February 16th, 2010.
