Show your support for Congresswoman DeGette by joining her to walk, wave, carry signs and toss candy and beads in the St. Pat’s Day parade!

WHEN:
We will be meeting at 8:45 a.m. to decorate the parade car that Diana will ride in. The parade steps off at 10 a.m. and we will be finished by 11 a.m. If you can’t get there by 8:45 a.m., you can still join us if you arrive by 9:30. But, we could use your creativity and help with the decorating and organizing, eating bagels and drinking coffee.
 
WHERE:
We will be meeting in the Staging Area in the Coors Field Parking Lots B&C. We are in the Honorary Division near the front of the parade so you will find us just East of 27th Ave.
 
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
To get into the Staging Area, you need to know:

PARKING:
Parade participants (YOU!) can park in Coors Field Lot A, but space is limited and carpooling is recommended. You can enter the lot at 23rd & Wazee. Note: Park Ave. turns into 23rd. If the lot is full you can find parking on the street.
 
Street Closures beginning at 9 a.m.:
Blake Street from 27th to 17th / 17th from Blake to Wynkoop / Wynkoop from 17th to 19th
 
Parade Route:
The official start is at 27th & Blake, turns right on Blake and travels to 17th. Right on 17th to Wynkoop. Right on Wynkoop to 19th and then to Wewatta where the public road ends and the parade returns into the Coors Field parking lot.
 
*Children under 5 may ride in wagons or strollers but may not walk in the parade.
*Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes and dress in layers.
